About me
Aware that through communication there is a huge opportunity to create positive relationships and build a better society, I always hope to be able to contribute to rethinking communication training, as well as its responsibilities in the process of building a fairer, more equal and inclusive society.
I've been working in Strategic Communications for 17 years. I've managed agencies and teams in Portugal and Mozambique and worked on the strategic communication of some of the world's biggest brands: Coke; Nestlé; Samsung; Mondallez; Cervejas de Moçambique - SABMiller Group; Unilever; DStv; Barclays; Vodacom.
Some of the projects developed with my teams (all of them are the result of joint, multidisciplinary work) have won international awards and distinctions - especially for the positive impact they have had on communities and society.
Since 2023, I’ve been involved in projects for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) at Creative Europe - European Union as a communication strategist.
I am in my second year of a PhD in Communication Sciences at NOVA FCSH, specialising in Strategic Communication. I propose to study the impact of digital influencers with disabilities on social inclusion.
As part of the Obi.Media and ICNOVA research teams, I am collaborating on projects related to accessible communication and communication for inclusion.
I also founded and chair the non-profit association Positive Digital, a project that fights for responsible and inclusive online communication.
